A Garden of Buttercream: A Floral Wedding Cake to Remember
/Some cakes are sweet, some are stunning, and then there are cakes that stop people in their tracks. This two-tier wedding cake falls firmly into that last category. Covered in a cascade of buttercream blooms in deep burgundy, dusty rose, blush, and forest green, it’s a floral dream come to life.
A Cake That Feels Like a Bouquet
When designing this cake, I wanted to capture the romance and elegance of fresh flowers—but in a way that’s completely edible. The bold burgundy and dusty rose flowers create depth and drama, while the softer blush tones and forest green leaves add balance and movement. Each petal is hand-piped, layered with care to create texture and dimension, making the cake look almost too beautiful to cut (almost!).
Why Buttercream Flowers?
Sugar flowers are lovely, but there’s something extra special about buttercream florals. They’re soft, delicate, and delicious. Every flower on this cake is made with my signature buttercream, ensuring that beauty doesn’t come at the cost of flavor. Plus, there’s a certain magic in knowing that every detail was crafted by hand, petal by petal.
